Agendas for May 2nd Host Sites

SD75 Word CloudA planning session was held on Wednesday, April 15th at Riverside College. Teacher planners worked diligently to create flexible agendas that will support educators on the 2nd.

Each school was provided with a binder of planning templates and resources, as well as a sample list of lesson topics in the Siwal Si’wes Digital Library (see Section A: Aboriginal Education). In response to teacher requests, the district has also provided a memory stick to each school that contains the digital files of these resources.

Note: Siwal Si’wes is verifying copyright approval before making digital copies of the print resource binder “9000 years of the River People”.  If approved, we hope to make digital copies available  as soon as possible.

Below are details regarding the framework of the day at each of the sites for May 2nd. (Click on the green links to access the agendas/resources.) Unless otherwise indicated in your agenda, the morning will begin at 8:30am. Coffee and muffins will be provided for breakfast and lunch is on your own.
